The Caliber Cut

Lapel Design

Our lapels are 3  and 5/8" wide, which is 1/2 " wider than a typical off-the-rack suit. The wider lapel helps to accentuate the chest and thin out the mid-section. We then hand stitch the seams of the lapel using a pic-stitch design to bring attention to the level of detail in each of our suits. We complete the design of the suit by making a fashion forward choice by adding a second lapel notch.

The Silhouette

Each of the Caliber Cut suits feature a sliming silhouette. We taper the arms and legs for a trimmer, more form fitting design.

Breast Pocket

Our chest pocket features a curved design, adding some flair away from the industry standard straight design. We also take the lining you have chosen for the interior of the suit, and add a sewn-in pocket square that can be tucked  away when you don't want it, and puffed out when you want to include a touch of color to the suit.

Ticket Pockets

Along the main body of the suit, we add ticket pockets above the right outside pocket. This helps to elongate the silhouette of the suit and add a feature that is only found amongst the highest quality of suits. We also place them at a 13-degree angle to help slim out the main body of the coat.

Slanted Cuff Buttons

Our Caliber Cut uses this particular design for more than just the style of it. Our signature cut sews in the buttonholes at a 45 degree angle, which you don't find on suits "off the rack". With the added ability to button or unbutton the cuffs, it helps keep the cuff clean if a quick roll of the sleeves is needed.

Side-Vents

Along the back of the coat, we place two vents, one along each side. We do this instead of the standard single middle vent. This helps to keep the back of the suit flat and wrinkle free when seated.
